The launch of Thusanang Shelter by Free State department of Social Development

A new shelter by the name of Thusanang will be opened on Wednesday, 31 August 2022 in Qwa-Qwa, Free State by the provincial department of Social Development. The direct translation of the shelter’s name is ‘to help each other’ and that is what the department aims the shelter will do for victims of Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and femicide. OFM News’ Tshehla Koteli spoke to the departmental spokesperson, Lindiwe Mnguni on how the launch will unfold.
