‘Witness is unreliable and dishonest’: Mpofu to argue in impeachment inquiry

The damning testimony from a witness summoned before the impeachment hearing of suspended public protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane must be discarded, says advocate Dali Mpofu.
Mpofu is leading Mkhwebane’s legal team as she fights to prove she is fit to hold the office.
Former senior investigator at the public protector’s office Tebogo Kekana made claims about things he found to be odd during his time working with Mkhwebane, and said “I did not want to testify and I was not given enough time”.
