Can Pirates Make SA Proud? The Fans Answer!

--:--
After reaching the CAF Confederations Cup final for the fourth time, Orlando Pirates have the chance to acquire silverware, after a disappointing season. The Bucs have shown their quality in the competition, by topping their group scoring 15 goals, and continuing their march for glory to the final. Pirates were too strong in the first leg of the semi-finals after beating Al Ahli Tripoli 2-0 but lost the second leg 1-0 (Aggr 2-1). The buccaneers now travel to the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Nigeria to face RSB Berkane in the final on Friday 20 May.

Orlando Pirates coach Mandla Ncikazi says reaching the CAF Confederation Cup final is a saving grace for the Buccaneers’ disappointing league campaign. Ncikazi continues to say “We did not have the best of seasons, that is the truth. But at least this is a sign that the team exists, the team has this capacity that I’ve always believed [in], and for the supporters and fans just to have hope that Pirates have done it before, and they can do it again,”

On the latest episode of the Fan Reaction Show, Mzansi shows support for Orlando Pirates who face RS Berkane in the final of the CAF Confederations Cup. This is a great chance for the Buccaneers to get their hands on some silverware.
