‘Bayern Need To Pick Themselves Up’

After a crucial victory in the UEFA Champions League against RB Salzburg (7-1) which saw Robert Lewandowski scoring the fasting hatrick in UCL history, The Bavarian giants returned to Germany to play against Hoffenheim. Bayern went down 1-0 in the 32nd minute but of course, Lewandowski found the back of the net, towards the end of the first half leveling things out at 1-1. That is how the match finished, thus leaving a smaller gap for second-placed Dortmund to catch up to. Dortmund, with an extra game in hand, will be looking to close the gap even further when they come up against Mainz.

On the latest episode of the Bundesliga Connection, DW Sports Correspondent and German Football expert Kres Harrington reeks down the disappointment that Bayern felt after their draw to Hoffenheim. Kres also praises Christopher Nkunku and provides an update on Erling Haaland.
