With 3 out of 4 German sides representing the Bundesliga in the 2021/2022 UEFA Champions League picking up points on matchday 2, only the Bulls of RB Leipzig failed to show anything for their efforts after losing 2-1 to Percy Tau’s former club, Club Brugge. Although the Bulls controlled a healthy amount of the ball possession and strung together more than double the amount of passes than the traveling Belgian outfit, it wasn’t meant to be. When looking for stand-out performances, one has to look at Christopher Nkunku. The French youngster has been the only performer for Leipzig this season according to DW Sports correspondent and German football expert Kres Harrington. Leipzig currently sits in eighth place on the Bundesliga log and fourth in their UCL table, is this the same Leipzig as last season?
