The Limpopo MEC for the health department, Dr Phophi Ramathuba says they are engaging liquor retailers in the province to work together in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic. She says their move is from the realization that the liquor and entertainment industries are the first ones to be impacted by lockdowns. Dr Phophi Ramathuba told Nghamula Chauke that they want the industry to help them but there are no laws to enforce a ban of sale of alcohol to unvaccinated customers.
