With the first round of the 2021/2022 MTN8 done and dusted, it was Golden Arrows, Moroka Swallows, Mamelodi Sundowns, and Cape Town City who progressed from the quarter-finals and find themselves in the semi-finals. These fixtures were nothing short of exciting, drama-filled, and entertaining. Two out of the four games had to be decided on penalties. Speaking on the SL Podcast’s ‘Fan Reaction Show’, one fan was saying how “there are no big teams anymore.”
