Rodney Trudgeon’s guest on People of Note this week is radio presenter, poet and music aficionado SHILOH NOONE, known to many FMR listeners for his long running series called Song Catcher. Shiloh has also written a history of rock called Seekers Guide to the Rhythm of Yesteryear, which won a Rolling Stone award. His latest book is called A Bicycle, A Chess set, an African River and tells an exciting story of teaching chess to poor children in the bush across a crocodile infested river near the Mozambiquan border.
