ANC loses bid to have MK party deregistered

The Electoral Court on Tuesday ruled the Electoral Commission of South Africa's (IEC) registration of the newly formed MK party was not unlawful. 

The ANC filed an application challenging the MK party's registration, arguing the IEC contravened the law by allowing the party, to supplement its registration application after it had already been rejected.
