SABC News and Current Affairs — By Newsbreak Producer Hoosen Ebrahim - Over 1.2 million stem cell transplantation have been done across the world, with over 70,000 of that number taking place here in South Africa. Tomorrow marks World Marrow Donor Day (WMDD) - which will be celebrated in more than 50 countries around the world. The campaign, which originally was held as a European event in Italy, Spain, France and Belgium - expanded to a worldwide celebration in 2015.
