Jack Ma foundation continues with Africa's Business Heroes (ABH) competition

The Jack Ma Foundation continues commitment to addressing barriers to economic development and entrepreneurship across Africa in various ways. Their current and ongoing initiative is the 2020 Africa's Business Heroes (ABH) prize competition which identifies and awards top outstanding business heroes from across Africa who are creating significant impact and driving change in their local communities. This year, 50 - Entrepreneurs from across Africa have been selected where the top ten finalists will enter a grand finale later this year and take the stage to pitch business legends - including Jack Ma - for a chance to win their share of a 1- point - 5 million dollars prize pool. The 2020 finalists represent 21 African countries which include: Algeria, South Africa, Kenya, Benin, Botswana, Cameroon and Zimbabwe among others. These represent 18 sectors such as, agriculture, AI, Big Data, business services, construction and transportation.
