#PODCAST - Hajj numbers dropped during lockdown

Today marks the beginning of the much revered annual five-day Hajj pilgrimage to the Holy city of Mecca in Saudi Arabia. Millions of Muslims worldwide participate in the compulsory spiritual pilgrimage - however this year, only 10,000 people are allowed to perform the sacred journey. The number of pilgrims has been restricted this year due to international travel bans to curb the coronavirus pandemic.
