#PODCAST: The Restaurant Association of South Africa (RASA) say the sector could lose over 400,000 jobs soon

By Newsbreak Producer Tashlan Naidoo - The Restaurant Association of South Africa (RASA) say almost 400,000 jobs may be lost in the sector in the coming weeks, after government announced a night curfew and another ban on alcohol. RASA CEO Wendy Alberts says 69 restaurants have permanently closed their doors in the last few week, while hundreds more say it's financially unviable for them to open with the curfew and alcohol ban in place. Alberts says the ripple effects of the lockdown, liquor ban and curfew is going to decimate the already embattled industry...
