#PODCAST: Chairperson of the KZN Parents Association comments on the lack of PPE's at various Durban schools

By Newsbreak Producer Tashlan Naidoo - The KwaZulu-Natal Education Department says the delivery of PPEs for learners returning to school is moving at a very slow pace in some areas around Durban, due to a dispute between the department and business forums. Grades R, 6 and 11 learners across the country were phased into schools yesterday. Only schools, which are ready to receive Grade R learners will do so. At some schools, learning resumed without any glitches. However, in others, learners were turned away. Meanwhile, chairperson of the KwaZulu-Natal parents association - Vee Gani says it was not all smooth sailing for returning grade 6 and 11 pupils. Gani says several schools around the province could not begin lessons due to a lack of personal protective equipment...
