Back To School For Grades 6 and 11 And Some Grade Rs – How Prepared Are Schools

Minister of Basic Education Angie Motshekga has outlined the new return plans for South African schools.The Basic Education Department said that 38% of the country’s principals indicated that some households were chosing to keep their children at home.Parents are at liberty to do so in terms of the South African Schools Act, but they must inform the Education Department's district office of their decision to take up teaching duties at home.
