YOUNG IN SA – MOTHEO BRODIE

“Motheo Brodie is a legal researcher in the Education Rights Programme at the public interest law centre, SECTION27. In this role, he has worked on various basic education related matters, amongst them; challenging the state to fix sanitation and eradicate pit toilets in our public schools as well as conducting workshops on sexual and reproductive health and rights in mainly rural schools across the country. He is passionate about education and also has a history in student leadership and activism. During his time at Wits University he served as the Deputy President of the SRC at the height of the #FeesMustFall movement. He graduated with an LLB degree from Wits University in 2017.”
