#PODCAST: Media included as 'essential services' ahead of SA's 21 day lockdown

Reacting to the President's historic address last night, acting SANEF Media Freedom Chair - Mary Papayya says it is imperative for journalists to be able to do thier jobs and inform the public. With the country under lockdown people need the media for information and to stay abreast with what is happening around them. Meanwhile, SANEF will be seeking further information from the Presidency to get clarity on issues such permits or passes for media representatives to be able to work without constraints. Speaking to Newsbreak, Papayya also called on media houses using "skeleton staff" to make the most of technological avenues available at the workplace...
