#PODCAST: With maths results on the decline, FEMSSISA provide a few methods to get pupils back on track

By Newsbreak Producer Matthew Veeran - Earlier this week, the Gauteng Education MEC - Panyaza Lesufi spoke to the media and expressed serious concern over poor mathematics performances at schools. He revealed this at the inaugural primary school summit in Randburg, north of Johannesburg. But these poor results seem to apply across the board, with other provinces around the country also recording dismal results at all levels of schooling. Local non-profit organisation FEMSSISA seem to have a solution and say it starts at a grassroots level. FEMSSISA is the Foundation for English; Mathematics; Sciences; Sports and Innovation of South Africa.
