Lesotho NGO to fight for people affected by Water Project

Lesotho Non-governmental Organisation -Seinoli Litigation Centre, says it will continue fighting to make sure that communities affected by the construction of Phase- two of the Lesotho Highlands Water Project, are compensated.
The Organisation wants the communities around the Polihali Dam site, to be compensated for their land before construction of the project begins and to get perpetual royalties. Lesotho Highlands Water Project is a multi-phased project initiated to provide water for Gauteng province in South Africa and to generate hydro-electricity for Lesotho.
