#PODCAST: Legal expert speaks about the legalities around the signing of indemnities by parents for school outings

That's according to Faranaaz Veriava - a lawyer and Head of Education at Section 27 - a social justice organisation. This is under the law of delict. She was reacting to the death of a 13-year old Parktown Boys High School learner Enoch Mpianzi who drowned in the Crocodile River while attending a grade 8 orientation camp at the facility last week. It's understood that Mpianzi was swept away after the makeshift raft he built together with other learners capsized during an activity.
