The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence is an international campaign to challenge violence against women and girls continues here in South Africa. And we at African Dialogue are also continuing to put a spotlight on this on-going scourge. Lisa Vetten a social justice activist in South Africa has been working in the field of violence against women for decades and here is an interview I had with her, where we spoke about what still needs to be done to assist women in these situations and if there has been any significant changes in the law, the justice system or even services since she first started work in this field.
