The group has launched the Women's Safety Initiative (WSI) in response to the scourge of gender-based violence currently afflicting South African women. The initiative allows for women who require someone to walk them home from lectures, to wait with them at a bus stop or any other security measure - to receive immediate assistance from a dispatched security officer.
