#TotalShutdown Intersectional Woman’s movement slams government as yet another woman is murdered

The #TotalShutdown Intersectional Woman’s movement says government is failing women by not implementing the solutions that women across the country submitted to the president during a protest last year. They are reacting to the rape and murder of 19-year old Uyinene Mrwetyana who was a first year student the University of Cape Town. A 42-year old Clareinch Post Office worker has been arrested in connection with her rape and murder.
