Micho has the final say on the Pirates bench - Fadlu Davids

With only seven games to go in the Absa Premiership 2018/2019 season, the title race is heating up and Orlando Pirates assistant coach Fadlu Davids believes that anything is possible. Pirates host Sundowns in a league match next Monday at Orlando stadium (19:30) hoping to close the three points gap between the two teams. With Pirates out of the CAF Champions League, the focus now switches only to the league. Speaking after a friendly match against Jomo Cosmos earlier today, Davids was asked if this Pirates team have got what it takes to win this league title. Davids says whilst they are disappointed at having exited the the CAFCL, their focus is total on the league. Davids joined Pirates at the beginning of this year and he’s seen them being knocked out of the Nedbank Cup and the CAFCL but also fighting hard to maintain their current top three position with only seven games. The former Maritzburg United head coach reflects on his first three months at Pirates. Since David’s arrival at Pirates, there’s been concerns that when himself, head coach Milutin “Micho” Sredojevic and first assistant coach Rulani “Mourinho” Mokwena are standing and giving instructions on the touchlines, they are confusing players. But the year-old addressed that yesterday.
