Amanda Dlamini excited over the women’s professional league

Former Banyana Banyana captain Amanda Dlamini is excited over the proposed women’s professional league that is expected to commence later this year. Banyana have been a force to be reckoned with in women’s football in the last few years, having qualified for the two Olympics, and also recently reaching the FIFA World Cup in France later this year without the professional league. Dlamini says it is long overdue. Dlamini retired from the national team last year having earned 105 caps after an illustrious 11 years career. She is still playing for JWC team in the Gauteng Sasol league. She says life after football has been tough.
