Margins getting smaller and smaller in the PSL - Da Gama

Highlands Park Coach Owen da Gama feels the Absa Premiership is getting tougher and much more competitive with margins between the top and bottom teams decreasing. PSL log leader Mamelodi Sundowns lead the pack with 43 points from 23 matches and the Lions of the North who sit on ninth position in have 29 points, only 14 points off Sandawana. Da Gama feels they will be more shocks with seven games to go until the season ends. Da Gama however believes there are still certain players that can make a difference and those are the players that big spending clubs put their money on. Da Gama gave his thoughts on why South African players are still finding it hard to find the net more frequently with the PSL top goal scorer stats averaging 14 goals in the last 10 years. Da Gama seems determined to push his team to greater heights and refuses to be drawn into relegation talk but rather speaks of a push for a top eight finish and his fight continues tomorrow afternoon (Sunday) where he faces a tricky test against Chippa United in Port Elizabeth.
