The Cape Town City match will be exciting- Pitso Mosimane

Mamelodi Sundowns Coach Pitso Mosimane says their league match against Cape Town City will be very exciting. The two teams will do battle for the second time in a week at Athlone stadium in Cape Town tonight (kick-off 7:30pm). The Brazilians won the first round match 3-2 in Pretoria last week. The two teams also met in the MTN 8 semi-final two-legged tie, with both teams winning at home but City eventually winning on penalty shootout. City registered an impressive victory against Bidvest Wits this past weekend, when they overcame a 2-0 deficit to win 3-2. They are sitting in fourth position with 36 points from 22 matches. Mosimane says they have the potential to finish in a good position on the log. The PSL champions dropped two vital points against Bloemfontein Celtic, when they played to a goalless draw on Saturday. They still remain on top with 40 points from 21 games. Orlando Pirates are second with 39 points from 22 matches. Sundowns missed many chances against Celtic, and Mosimane says converting easy chances will be key to winning the league. Mosimane was once again not happy with the referee on Saturday. There was an incident when a Celtic defender recklessly fouled Sundowns defensive midfielder Tiyani Mabunda in the second half, but referee Daniel Bennet opted to give the offender a yellow instead of a red card. Sundowns will also play a crucial CAF champions league clash against Nigerian team Lobi Stars on Saturday. Mosimane says apart from injured Sibusiso Vilakazi they have a clean bill of health.
