Stormers looking for improved start against Sharks
The Stormers will be looking to build on last week’s win against the Lions when they travel to Durban to take on the Sharks on Saturday. Coach Robbie Fleck has made three changes to the team, with Springbok Eben Etzebeth set to start his first game of the season after impressing off the bench last week. There are also first starts for centre Dan Du Plessis and scrum half Herschel Jantjies, who comes in for the injured Jano Vermaak. Fleck is pleased to have Etzebeth starting and says his presence makes the pack a lot stronger. Fleck says he is very excited to see what Du Plessis can do at centre, and says he is a very exciting young backline player. With Vermaak’s injury, Fleck says this is a great opportunity for Jantjies, who scored the winning try last week. Fleck knows it will not be easy against the Sharks, who he says have improved a great deal over the past few months.
