Dr Iqbal Survé denies claims that he used billions in PIC funds for personal interest

The chairperson of the Sekunjalo Group, Dr Iqbal Survé, has dismissed reports that he has been using the bank account of one of his companies, which received billions of rands of government pension funds, as his personal piggy bank. The Sunday Times reported at the weekend that Dr Survé colluded with some Ayo board members to secure an investment from the Public Investment Corporation, which eventually led to the PIC making a R4.3 billion investment in the IT Company.
