Foreign Direct Investment

Foreign Direct Investment- FDI, into the african continent rose in 2017, with South Africa and Morocco as leading investment destinations. This is according to a report by the global accounting firm, Ernst and Young. The report shows that last year the continent attracted more than seven hundred FDI projects, which was up six percent from the previous year, in line with a recovery in the continent's economic growth. Countries that have experienced a major uptick in FDI include Ethiopia, Kenya and Zimbabwe.
