Nolusindiso Booi to lead balanced youth and experienced Springboks Women's team to Europe
Springbok Women’s team coach Stanley Raubenheimer says it is important to have experienced leadership in his 28 player’s squad for their four match tour of Europe. Raubenheimer has appointed the experienced Nolusindiso Booi to lead the side that will play their first international in four years. Booi also led the SA Select side to United Kingdom last year. Raubenheimer says the tour will be a fact finding mission while also measuring the standard of women’s rugby in the country against some of the top teams in the world. The Springbok Women’s team will play against UK Armed Forces in London on Friday followed by the match against Wales at Cardiff Arms Park on Saturday10 November then play against Spain in Villajoyosa on Saturday 17 November before ending the tour against Italy in Prato on Sunday 25 November.
