Spirits high in Province camp ahead of Currie Cup Final - Leyds

As Western Province prepares to host the Sharks in the Currie Cup Final on Saturday at Newlands Stadium, fullback Dillyn Leyds says that Province are grateful for the support they have received this season. Just over 18 000 supporters were at Newlands on the weekend when Province beat the Blue Bulls 35-32 after extra time, and Leyds says having the supporters cheering on them helped them across the finish line. Leyds is happy to see the fans coming back to Newlands, and hopes for an even bigger crowd on Saturday. He added that spirits are high in the Province camp, and with the sun shining brightly in Cape Town this week, he is hoping the weather will last until the weekend.
