Glass Ceiling survey reveals a dramatic shift in race and gender composition in media houses
There has been dramatic shifts in the race and gender composition of media houses since 2006 in South Africa. This is according to the recent Glass Ceiling survey, a research project into how women fare in South Africa's media industry. Undertaken by the South African National Editors Forum and Gender Links, the survey also reveals new threats to women in media, particularly underlying sexism.
