24 Sep HTHT18 - DAY ELEVEN : KZN (PT 2)

Part 1: Max’s Lifestyle (Umlazi)
We visit Max’s Lifestyle in Umlazi for some of the much talked about shisa nyama. Max’s is known for their traditional meals featuring meat cooked on a braai with traditional side dishes. We chatted to him to find out what makes coming to Umlazi so special

Part 2: Best Curries / Brittania (Durban)
We continue our in search for some of the best dishes in KZN, and in Durban at the Britannia Hotel, we came across possibly the best Bunnies in the business. We chat to the managers at Capsicum restaurant to find out about the history of the hotel, the Bunny Chow, and what makes theirs so special

Part 3: Botanical Gardens (Durban)
One of our favourite finds so far, a must see if you’re ever in Durban - The Botancial Gardens, the oldest maintained gardens in Africa. Here we chatted to Kerry (on the board trust) about the history and operations of the Gardens, and then we were treated to a spectacular golf cart tour of Gardens by Vishnu. With so much to see and learn, if you had to walk through all of the gardens it could easily take you the whole day.
