Currie Cup still relevant in SA rugby scene and platform for future Super Rugby and Springboks stars

Springbok and Sharks wing Sibusiso Nkosi believes that the Currie Cup still remains an important competition in South African rugby and is the perfect platform for young players to launch their careers and prove that they can make it in Super Rugby and international rugby. Nkosi was speaking at the competition’s launch in Johannesburg yesterday. With the Sharks losing last year’s final against Western Province in Durban, Nkosi says they will use that as a source of motivation going into the new season under new captain and Springbok hooker Chiliboy Ralepelle.
