One of the greatest and most awesome things women do enjoy about being females is parenting; the ability to carry a life inside of them for duration of 09 months and give birth after to a healthy baby full of life. This is said to be one of the things that define one of the cornerstone pillars of being a woman. Much as this is great, unfortunately there are women out there who are not able to produce and carry a baby due to known and unknown health reasons.
Today on our health feature we have invited our gynecologist to talk about infertility in women and its possible causes. Infertility means not being able to get pregnant after one year of trying or six months if a woman is 35 or older. Women who can get pregnant but are unable to stay pregnant may also be infertile.
Most cases of female infertility are caused by problems with ovulation. Without ovulation, there are no eggs to be fertilized. Some signs that a woman is not ovulating normally include irregular or absent menstrual periods. Other common causes of fertility problems in women include; blocked fallopian tubes due to pelvic inflammatory disease, endometriosis, or surgery for an ectopic pregnancy, Physical problems with the uterus and Uterine fibroids, which are non-cancerous clumps of tissue and muscle on the walls of the uterus.
