Mozambique Grant

The International Fund for Agricultural Development, IFAD and Mozambique on Tuesday signed a financial agreement worth 62-million US dollars; this will assist almost 300-thousand rural people engaged in agriculture, fisheries and small and medium-sized enterprises in ten provinces to improve their access to national and regional markets. Limited access to agricultural markets by smallholder farmers in rural areas represents one of the most important challenges confronting developing countries.
