We are not leaving Sanzaar and new contracting system is coming - Alexander

The South African Rugby Union have no plans to walk away from Sanzaar according to Saru president Mark Alexander. Speculation has been rife that Saru are looking at opportunities in the northern hemisphere raising rumours that they could divorce themselves from the southern hemisphere alliance with New Zealand, Australia and Argentina. Alexander says leaving Sanzaar would be short sighted. Alexander confirmed that the new contracting model for players that Saru will be implementing will allow for a draft system to be in place and stem the tide of the player drain to Europe and Japan.
