Steinhoff's acting chairman, Heather Sonn, says the company has reported its former CEO Markus Jooste to the Hawks for fraud. Jooste resigned as CEO of Steinhoff International last year, amid an investigation into accounting irregularities. This led to the company's share price plummeting more than 80 percent.
