29 Nov HSRC unveils study on HIV prevalence among male-to-male sexual partnerships

On the Forum@8 this morning, we unpack the findings of the first ever Southern African study, which looked at HIV prevention needs of male-to-male partnerships. The study has noted that HIV risk and transmission among male-male partnerships continues to be inadequately studied, and that it is also under-represented in national HIV surveillance systems. The study yields significant insights into the HIV risk taking behaviour, prevention and treatment needs of male-male partnerships in Southern Africa.
