Patrice Motsepe speaks during Jumuah at the Darul Islam Masjid

South African mining magnate Patrice Motsepe was the guest speaker during Jumuah at the Darul Islam Mosque in Surrey Estate on Friday, 24 November 2017, where he engaged on the topic of the role of religion in society as well as South Africa's socio-political problems. Motsepe is the deputy chairman of Sanlam and chairman of African Rainbow Minerals. He is also the head of the Motsepe Foundation who, in association with more than 40 faith-based organisations, prominent traditional leaders and Kings will be praying for the success of South Africa at a National Prayer Day Ceremony on Sunday at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg. World renowned International reciter Shaykh Abduragmaan Sadien delivered a Qira'ah, while the Arabic khutbah was delivered by Sheikh Riad Fataar. Take a listen to Motsepe's full lecture.
