BRICS calls for UN reform while denouncing North Korea's nuclear test
The BRICS group of five major emerging economies have called for a reform of the United Nations and tougher measures against terrorist groups, while denouncing North Korea's latest nuclear test. The heads of state from Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa have gathered in China for the group's 9th summit held under the theme 'Stronger Partnership for a Brighter Future'. The five have also pledged to work together to improve global economic governance to foster a more just and equitable international order.
