The debate around the legality of posting explicit photos of others online without their permission is an on-going one in South Africa. Many women have fallen victim to such violations. We recently received a tweet from an anxious listener, who says his niece's ex-boyfriend allegedly posted intimate videos and pictures they took while together online. Though social network sites such as Twitter and Facebook have changed its rules to stop the dissemination of 'revenge porn', hundreds of women still find their privacy grossly violated and their sexuality shamed, leaving them with little recourse to justice.
