Profile: Sihle Ndaba – Actress Also Known As Smangele Maphumulo On UZALO

Sihle Ndaba is an award winning actress, voice artist and singer. She studied, "Musical Theatre" at the Tshwane University of Technology. Soon after obtaining her National Diploma she joined the cast of the hit Broadway musical, "The Lion King" in Singapore. Upon her return to South Africa she competed on season 8 of SA Idols and placed in the Top 18. Some of her credits include Mzansi Magics first Telenovela ,"Inkaba" where she played the role of Pru. She appeared in the Sci-Fi drama series for SABC 1 "Room 9" as Qiniso. She has also worked with the National Children's'Theatre on various productions as an actor, singer, dancer and recently, Assistant Director for the show, "Under the Baobab Tree". She has also been seen on the Market Theatre stage portraying the role of Ntombi in Kwela Bafana. Some of her other credits including TV commercials for Ford and Joko Tea, Voice Overs for Mnet, Ponds, Vodacom, Telkom, and SA Home Loans, just to name a few. 
Sihle is currently portraying the role of, "Smangele Maphumulo" on South Africa's number  one prime time drama series: "Uzalo" on SABC 1, which boasts a viewership of 8 million.
