20 Mar Unity Walk aims to bridge the racial divide this Human Rights Day
by Newsbreak Producer, Taliesha Naidoo - Building social cohesion between different communities is critical in uniting South Africans. That's according to KwaZulu-Natal Human Settlements and Public Works MEC Ravi Pillay ahead of the OR Tambo Unity Walk which will be held tomorrow in Durban to commemorate Human Rights Day. The walk will commence from the Gandhi Settlement to Fernham Grounds, Ward 52 in Phoenix, north of Durban. Pillay says the walk aims to highlight the centenary of Oliver Tambo's birth, Human Rights Day and for KZN, in particular, to bridge the racial divide.
