South Sudan

The government of South Sudan is opposed to the idea of including non member states of the Inter-governmental Authority for DevelopmentI,IGAD, in peace talks. South Sudan's Foreign Affairs Minister, Benjamin Marial, says he's happy with IGAD's role as a mediator in securing a peace deal . There were plans by the African Union to include 5 other countries in the mediation, as well as reports that non African countries also want to be part of the mediation
