Today’s question on the Ask Prof Noakes podcast deals with marathon fueling on the Low Carb High Fat diet in the build up to marathons and beyond. MeirandShule Zaiden’s question for Prof Tim Noakes is as follows: The Low Carb High Fat diet has worked very well for me so far and I have run a few half marathon’s on water only. What would an eating plan be on the build up to a marathon or beyond and especially on races like the Two Oceans Ultra Marathon and the Comrades Marathon. What would the ideal marathon fueling and then what would you eat during the race itself?
