GORMLEY - RACHAEL HARDER - APRIL 29

Bill C-10, a bill which aims to strengthen the Canadian content system by regulating streaming services like Netflix, was amended last week to include regulation over social media as well. Many are concerned the bill would essentially make all online content subject to government review and approval, calling C-10 an "assault" on freedom of expression in Canada. Rachel Harder is the Conservative critic for digital government, and she joins Gormley to explain the issues with C-10 and what alternatives the government should be using instead.
