GORMLEY - PAUL MCKENDRICK - APRIL 26

John Bjornstrom, better known as the Bushman of the Shuswap, escaped from prison in British Columbia in the late '90s and evaded police for two years in an elaborate network of woodland basecamps and by stealing from cabins before the heavily-armed fugitive was ultimately captured by RCMP posing as a documentary film crew. Author Paul McKendrick explores the near-legendary figure of Bjornstrom in his new book "The Bushman's Lair: On the Trail of the Fugitive of the Shuswap," and he joins Gormley to tell us about the story.
