South Africa temporarily suspends J&J vaccine roll out

The South African government has temporarily suspended the roll out of the Johnson&Johnson Covid-19 vaccine. Health Minister, Dr Zweli Mkhize, made the announcement. It comes hard on the heels of the Food and Drug Administration in the United States calling for an immediate pause in the use of the vaccine after six women who received it developed a rare and severe form of blood clotting.
